For established firms, we offer six ways in which we can help you: Comprehensive Efficiency Evaluation Services, Remote Consulting, Hourly Consulting, Implementation Services, Website Redesign Services and/or our Advisor Network.     This is an in-depth analysis of your practice's (or business's) current operational condition with detailed written recommendations on how to improve efficiency. For the full evaluation, we charge for our services based on a negotiated base fee that is determined by the scope of the engagement, firm size, number of employees, number of locations and other factors.

We then perform the evaluation, tracking the actual hours to complete the project measured at our standard rates for Senior Consultant Services and $100/hr for all others. Once complete, we compare the totaled hourly rate to the base fee. If the totaled hourly rate falls short of the base fee, we will discount our fee to the lower number. If the hourly rate rises above the base fee, we cap the final fee to the negotiated base fee. In this way, you have a stop-loss number that the fee cannot go above and we hold ourselves accountable for our own efficiency. Generally, we ask for 50% of the negotiated base fee in advance with the remaining balance (the lesser of either the base amount or totaled hourly fee amount) due upon presentation of the final report.

Our Modular Consulting Services is a fast, streamlined alternative that chooses up to two distinct areas of operations to evaluate for efficiency. The cost is roughly half of the Comprehensive Consulting fee.

Clearly, what sets our services apart from all others is our Implementation Services. If chosen, we oversee the process of change management by coordinating implementation with our partner firms and you. As a team, we assist in the installation and customization of technology, the training of staff, and the mentoring of management to accomplish three key goals:

1. to enable the implementation of efficient operations as quickly and with the least impact on your firm's daily operations as possible,
2. to provide additional support for those unexpected events/conditions that may arise and,
3. to provide a stable, gradual transition to the more efficient platforms, techniques, systems and procedures without overwhelming those who will assume these new duties. Often, our consultants may be acting as a Virtual Chief Operations Officer or similar role during this phase to give them the appropriate authority to enact positive change.

We offer solution implementation support services to make the process of transitioning to a more efficient firm quick and easy. This critical step is designed to provide you with detailed step-by-step instructions on what you need to do to fully implement the plan and transform your practice (business) into an efficient and profitable operation.

This fee is dependant upon the extent of the work uncovered in the evaluation and to what extent you would like assistance in implementing it. We can offer either on-site or remote assistance for implementing your solution plan. This is offered as follows:

If your practice is located within the State of California, travel will be based on Automobile gas, tolls, etc. If travel involves outside the State of California, 'best efforts' will be made to secure the lowest available rates for plane fare, car rental and lodging, when necessary.

The Efficient Practice Advisor Network is offered as a one-year (renewable) membership.  The contract automatically renews for another year unless you state otherwise, in writing, at least 30 days prior to the end of your current contract period.
